If you successfully complete or have completed your Abitur, you are directly eligible for admission to a degree programme.
You can be admitted to a degree programme without an Abitur if you have vocational training and/or several years of professional experience in a field related to the subject you wish to study. You must also pass a study aptitude test (Delta test). This also applies to those with a Fachhochschulreife (Technical College entrance qualification).
