On behalf of the Albtal-Verkehrs-Gesellschaft (AVG), a faunistic and floristic mapping is being carried out along the Kraichgau railway line.
Since March, biologists have been recording animal and plant species between Berghausen and Bretten in order to identify protected species. This measure is in preparation for the sustainable expansion of the line between Grötzingen and Bretten.
Sustainability as a goal: The data collected is incorporated into an environmental impact study in order to make the expansion ecologically compatible and define compensatory measures.
Cooperation: The mapping, which will continue until the end of the year, is being carried out in coordination with the Karlsruhe Regional Council and the Lower Nature Conservation Authority.
Our commitment: We are committed to sustainable and environmentally conscious infrastructure development.
We look forward to taking these steps to promote the sustainable and environmentally conscious development of our infrastructure!
